The Foundation of the Hellenic World organizes in cooperation with the ACM SIGCHI (Association for Computing Machinery –Special Interest Group Computer-Human Interaction) the 5th International Conference ACE 2009 "Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology 2009", which for the first time incorporates the 4th International Conference DIMEA 2009 "Digital Interactive Media Entertainment and Arts".

The objective of the Conference is interactive entertainment, a rapidly evolving industry with significant social and cultural consequences. It has the ambition of constituting an international forum that will expand research and enhance the development of innovative applications of interactive entertainment and art.

ACE 2009 brings together researchers from the scientific and academic fields with various cognitive subject matters, from psychology to computer science and art. In this framework, apart from the theoretical presentations, there will be relevant experimental projects from the most important research groups all over the world.
